The Bier Band is Out

Unfortunately, the Bier Band has respectfully declined to play the Fall Crawl due to a sched. conflict. They have decided to take a local gig in Cincinatti. I am dissapointed because they were awesome, however, they did recomment Ted and the Polka Dots whom were on the list I gave you. You may even want to try to talk to the Bier Band to see if they would consider playing our gig for more money than what the local gig is playing. Try out your negotiating skills! Things don't always work out the way you plan, so let this be a lesson to look hard and quick. We need to be talking with at least 3-4 bands by next week so that we know we have prospects.

Are we trying to only book polka type acts for this, or does anything go?

because I can talk to Mike Doughty and see if he will headline. he's a pretty independent artists, but he's acoustic folk music. He was the front man from the band Soul Coughing from the 90's to 00's but quit to do his own stuff. you can listen to his stuff on myspace. He's under Dave Matthew's label.

That could be something I can look into if you'd like.
