I was absent for the meeting last night and I have NO IDEA if the marketing commitee has set up meetings or anything else I should know about... PLEASE let me know! Where are we on the LOGO for the fest? Advertisements? I am aware that we have to wait until we know who our bands are before we start posters, but we can go ahead and write our ad for target vision so we can get it on the air as soon as possible. Anyone already started? If not, I can take care of it!

We have not set an official meeting time for the marketing committee. I know that i am working on getting an ad on target vision and for eku students today e-mail that goes around. If you have a good idea for a fun slogan for the target vision, i could use some suggestions. Brandi suggested just submitting like a teaser ad for now, until we know more specific info.

I talked to Ian last night and he mentioned using a line like "get your (insert bavarian word for party, or drink) on" for a slogan. I really dont know. What do you think? I think its a good idea though.

Anyhow, I looked on the target vision website AFTER I had designed a poster-like ad and realized that the possibilities are kind of limited because it seemed like our only options on the site were to choose a background, font and an image and it automatically formats everything. I have no idea how that stuff works:( So what all have you done?

Would you like to try and have a meeting with the marketing commitee before the meeting on the 8th so we can get things together and maybe come to a "teaser" decision so we can present an idea at the meeting? I'll post a new topic to see what everyone else thinks and to try and decide on a date and time.
